April Showers...

My sweet sisters threw me a bridal shower this weekend at our church. It was a great time and I was able to see so many of my friends and family. I can't think of much to write, other than I am so blessed by all the wonderful people in my life. Thanks, everyone. Oh- and Lo came up with the creative title~ xoxo

Seriously?

We got hit with another snowstorm last night.
We lost power around 9:00 and it didn't come back until around 6 this morning. Jesse ended up driving to work but was late and called and said the roads were terrible! It is extrememly windy here, and though we haven't got a ton of snow, it is still falling and drifting everywhere. Here's a few pictures looking out our windows.I secretly love it.... because it gives me a great excuse to sit in my pj's (yet again!), enjoy a 3 day weekend and do nothing all day except drink hot chocolate and eat my new favorite treat- dark chocolate chex mix!

Merry Christmas...

or something like that! If you haven't already heard, we were hit with a HUGE snowstorm up here! It started Saturday night, and continued on through part of Monday. We ended up with about 2 feet of snow (which, was quite depressing after spending a majority of the day Saturday outside at the hunting shack with minimal snow!). Ok- i have to admit, it was beautiful, and being that I was snowed in on Monday- with no school- left me able to sit in my jammies until 3:30 in the afternoon. I LOVED THAT! - I did feel terrible for anyone who had to be out on the roads that day-- it was extremely treacherous driving..... I did do some shoveling, and played in the snow a bit-- but mostly I just lazed around. :) Things are now beginning to melt, however, I am hearing talk of another foot of snow starting tomorrow night. We'll see what happens.....
